I provide therapy for families that is relationally based. My aim in Family Therapy is to regenerate the parent-child relationship.

The first step we take when beginning Family Therapy is reframing the problem away from the individual and toward the relationship. The relationship between parents and children have the greatest leverage in improving the quality of life for your family members.

I am committed to helping teens and their families thrive by helping parents meet their children’s emotional needs and helping families utilize the challenges that present themselves in relationship as fuel for the fire of healthy development.

I have trained in attachment and emotion focused forms of Family Therapy including ABFT (Attachment Based Family Therapy) and Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)

Attachment-Based Family Therapy
Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT) is a highly effective approach that aims to repair and strengthen the bonds between adolescents and their family members. ABFT is rooted in the understanding that secure attachments are crucial for a teenager's mental health and development. By addressing conflicts, communication breakdowns, and unresolved emotions within the family system, ABFT seeks to create a nurturing and supportive environment where adolescents can thrive.
At the core of ABFT is the belief that healing the family relationships can enhance the adolescent's emotional well-being and overall functioning. Through a combination of systemic interventions, emotion-focused techniques, and empathetic guidance, therapists help families navigate through challenges and rebuild trust and connection.
